Common questions
Open PaceOut on your device and complete parent setup. On the final step you'll get an invite code and QR code. Open PaceOut on your child's device, tap 'I'm a child', and enter the code or scan the QR. The devices link automatically.
PaceOut tracks broad categories — Games, Social, Video, and Messaging. It does not track specific app names, browsing history, or any personal content. Your child's exact app usage stays on their device only.
Remote Pause is a Premium feature. Go to the Dashboard tab and tap 'Pause for now'. This requires an active Premium subscription.
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID at the top, go to Subscriptions, find PaceOut, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select PaceOut to request a refund. We are unable to process refunds directly.
Make sure both devices have an active internet connection. PaceOut syncs via iCloud — both devices need to be signed into iCloud. Try closing and reopening the app on the child's device.
Go to Settings in PaceOut, scroll to the bottom, and tap 'Delete account'. This will remove all family data from iCloud within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
PaceOut is currently iOS only. Android support is on our roadmap.
PaceOut has the required Family Controls Distribution entitlement for production Screen Time functionality. Some Screen Time features may still depend on Apple platform availability, device setup, parent permissions, and App Store/TestFlight release status.
PaceOut Premium supports up to 5 child profiles. Go to the Family tab, tap 'Add another child', and follow the setup steps. Each child gets their own invite code.
